Bloomberg Usage Monitoring

We have leveraged our extensive experience in market data to internally develop our own proprietary market data usage tool. By accurately monitoring usage through Bloomberg and FactSet, we have identified terminals with low usage, unused third party entitlements, and non-client related messaging. Through this process and standard profiling activities we have examined over $1 billion in market data spend and saved over $250 million in market data spend for our clients.
In addition, through user workflow analysis and our proprietary substitution database (mapping commands from one vendor to another competing vendor if possible), we have been able to substitute 20-60% of the workstations monitored with lower cost alternative products that contain equivalent data without disturbing "business as usual." Our software is currently on over 80,000 workstations globally (a 25% market share of all possible workstations).
